Sean Sutcliffe dreamed of launching his own furniture workshop, and was inspired by his travels around Denmark to bring industry and employment to a rural community. It was at this time that he met Terence Conran and a firm friendship was made over a shared interest in making, wood, design and sustainability. They founded Benchmark together and the workshop and showroom are situated on the grounds of Terence’s country home.

OVO Table

The OVO table is available in two sizes. With a pillowed surface that invites the arms to rest comfortably on the gently bevelled edge, it is available made in both solid oak with a white oiled or ebonised finish; and walnut with an oiled finish. A matching bench makes a perfect accompaniment.
The addition of optional power and data modules and integrated lighting makes it a perfect meeting room or boardroom table. Cable management runs along a compact trough and neatly down a concealed channel in the leg.
