Modern, sustainable, outdoor furniture

Loll is a designer and manufacturer of durable, all-weather, outdoor furniture and accessories made with high density polyethylene, partially from recycled plastics like milk jug containers and shampoo bottles. With sustainability ethics in mind, they aim to play a role in a circular economy with 100% of their products recyclable at the end of their lives.

The company was founded on principles of efficient and responsible use and reuse of materials, which is why during the production process they recycle more than 88% of manufacturing waste with the remainder incinerated to make electricity. Loll is proudly Cradle to Cradle Certified.

Westport Adirondak

Thomas Lee x Loll

Loll has always been inspired by original design and when they first set out to make an Adirondack chair it had to be their own version. However, they say truthfully it was just an iteration of the original Adirondack chair, The Westport Chair.

Designed by Thomas Lee in 1903 for his summer cottage, he was motivated to design a comfortable outdoor lounging chair for the purpose of watching summer sunsets over the lake with a drink resting on the arm.

The chair has an early modern simplicity and a rustic and craftsman appearance that is still viable today more than 100 years later. Using recycled plastic instead of knot free clear wood, and incorporating our lock block hidden fastening system, Loll put forth their contemporary contribution to iconic outdoor furniture.
